The Jerusalem Church of God in Christ through active faith and community support brought the damaged church building of the former Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church back to life. They overcame the destruction caused by a major fire in 2007. After several years of work, the congregation dedicated the church on March 31, 2012.
