A thank you to the Wilkinsburg Public Library for the Digital Archives.

Over the years, all the people at the Wilkinsburg Public Library and all the members of the Wilkinsburg Historical Society have made it possible to learn from the past and to build for the future. The two organizations work closely together.

The Wilkinsburg Public Library and the Wilkinsburg Historical Society created the online Historic Wilkinsburg that offers a walking tour through the software program Pocket Sights. The home page suggests “Let’s learn some Wilkinsburg History!” and has information on a range of historic locations and places including the Rowland Theater, Dream City Amusement Park, and many beautiful churches.
